I understand well that reducing energy consumption with small motors in machine tools can lead to cost savings, but since it's a running machine, it cannot be stopped. I also considered inverter control, but gave up due to the enormous initial costs. However, this motor harmonic countermeasure allows for energy savings without having to stop the machine (motor). Additionally, since it is installed in parallel to the power transformer, it provides energy-saving benefits to all three-phase induction motors (200V or 400V) connected to the transformer. After implementation, we were able to reduce the electricity consumption from 290,000 kWh/month to 252,000 kWh/month, achieving approximately 13% energy savings.
